About the Role:
FleetPride is seeking a Diesel Technician III — a senior-level technician with the experience and confidence to diagnose, repair, and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues independently. This role supports medium- and heavy-duty equipment, including tractors, trailers, and box trucks, in a high-volume shop environment.

As a Level III technician, you’ll be trusted with advanced diagnostics, major component repairs, and mentoring of junior technicians — without being tied to nights or weekends.

What We’re Looking For:
  • 7+ years of diesel technician experience (MD/HD preferred).
  • Proven ability to perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs with minimal supervision.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding other technicians.
  • Strong communication with service managers, writers, and customers.
  • Ability to provide your own tools and toolbox.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • CDL A or B preferred (not required).
  • Safety-focused, detail-oriented, and highly efficient work ethic.

Advanced Technical Expertise:
  • Electrical diagnostics & schematic interpretation.
  • Advanced air brake systems.
  • Brakes, wheel ends, and suspension.
  • Steering & alignment.
  • Cooling and A/C systems.
  • Drivetrain diagnostics & repairs.
  • Transmissions, clutches, differentials.
  • Aftertreatment systems (DPF, DEF, SCR).
  • Upper & lower engine work.
  • OEM diagnostic software familiarity.
  • DOT inspections and compliance.
