FleetPride is looking for an experienced Mobile Service Diesel Technician to join our team in Agawam, MA. If you enjoy working independently, solving mechanical problems in the field, and providing outstanding customer service, this is the opportunity for you. You'll perform a wide variety of heavy-duty truck and trailer repairs using a company-provided service truck, which may be taken home with manager approval.

What You'll Do:
  • Perform mobile diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
  • Complete preventative maintenance services and DOT inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair air brake systems, electrical systems, starting and charging systems, cooling systems, drivetrain components, and aftertreatment systems.
  • Perform brake, wheel end, steering, suspension, and alignment-related repairs.
  • Remove and replace differentials and other drivetrain components.
  • Complete miscellaneous trailer repairs as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, service writers, and management regarding repair progress and recommendations.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and customer-focused work environment.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of heavy-duty diesel truck and trailer repair experience.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance, electrical diagnostics, brakes, suspension, drivetrains, cooling systems, and aftertreatment repairs.
  • Basic A/C diagnostic and repair experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Must provide your own tools and toolbox.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • CDL is a plus but not required.
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
