FleetPride’s Houston location is looking for an experienced Trailer Technician!

Trailer body repair experience is REQUIRED for this position.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Trailer Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heavy-duty trailers while providing quality service to our customers.
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trailers
- Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
- Repair trailer brakes, air systems, suspension, wheel ends, landing gear, and other mechanical components
- Perform trailer body repairs, including panels, doors, floors, roofs, crossmembers, and structural components
- Repair and replace trailer doors, hinges, hardware, and related components
- Perform welding and fabrication as needed
- Troubleshoot trailer electrical and ABS systems
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Provide excellent customer service
- Follow all safety procedures and industry standards
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- REQUIRED: Heavy-duty trailer body repair experience
- 3+ years of trailer repair experience preferred
- Strong experience with trailer body repairs and structural components
- Experience with panels, doors, floors, roofs, crossmembers, landing gear, and trailer structural repairs
- Mechanical trailer repair experience, including brakes, suspension, wheel ends, and air systems
- Welding/fabrication experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Own tools
- Steel/composite-toe boots required on day one
- Commitment to safety and quality
