FleetPride is looking for a Heavy-Duty Service Dispatcher in Bath, NY to coordinate roadside towing and wrecker services nationwide. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who is comfortable working with multiple computer systems, phone lines, drivers, and customers.
What You'll Do
- Answer emergency and non-emergency service calls
- Gather and accurately document customer and service information
- Prioritize calls based on urgency
- Coordinate roadside towing and wrecker services
- Assign the appropriate driver/operator and equipment
- Provide accurate ETAs to customers and partners
- Monitor driver locations and routes
- Communicate clear service details to drivers
- Enter information and maintain accurate logs
- Handle high-volume, multi-line phone traffic
- Process billing for auto clubs including AAA, Agero, GEICO, and others
- Stay productive and proactive during slower periods
- Maintain professionalism and composure during high-pressure situations
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous dispatch experience preferred
- Strong customer service experience
- Comfortable using multiple computer programs and systems
- Experience with multi-line phone systems is a plus
- Strong typing and data-entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Self-motivated, organized, and team-oriented
